| Short description: | The Scout Troop in Cristian is among the first ones to be
established in a rural area of Romania in 1993. With almost 20 years of
activity, the Troop earned a valued place in the community. For it is
true that the Scouts of Cristian are deeply anchored in the life of the
local community, as it is often the case of small villages. All our
activities are organised for the benefit of the children in the local
school and the work of Scouts has always been appreciated by the people
of Cristian as well as the local administration. |

| Short description: | The NSO still lacks the programme for the Rover age section.
We are right now in the process of the development of the Programme
(based, mostly, on sharing ideas with other NSOs and implementing
already existing WOSM materials and programmes). However, what is still
needed is to raise awareness of the entire NSO about the importance of
investing resources (both human and financial) into this idea. Having said this, it is very obvious that Roverway has never been recognised as a relevant event for the NSO, as the specific age section never existed. However, today, as we have fully functional team to support further development of the programme for this age section and the National Rover Commissioner, the Roverway was identified as multi beneficial event. |
